Emma Allsopp

Clients describe working with me as a ‘human experience’. I excel in aligning with individuals’ pace of processing in support of their development. My hunger for learning contributes to a dynamic culture of curiosity in coaching and supervision; enriched by a background of practice and supervision in a multidisciplinary team alongside mental health professionals.

I have a reputation for working well with difference through facilitating informed, psychologically safe spaces for complex challenges. These require intuition, humility, and deep listening. This means that as much as coaching and supervision are solutions-focused, it can be equally Gestalt-informed, especially when working with client patterns, identity and self-acceptance.

Experience and Development

I am a certified coach supervisor, a qualified coach, workplace needs assessor, trainer and neurodiversity consultant. I run my own private practice, EA Coaching and Training, and work as an associate for a range of private, public and voluntary sector organisations in both the UK and Europe. My clients value my ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders, and my extensive background in learning and development in the field of neuro-inclusion.

With a first degree in modern foreign languages, I have worked in publishing, translation, business, and as a tutor/assessor across the educational lifespan before starting my own coaching business in 2017. I am now fully self-employed, offering a range of coaching/supervision, training and consultancy services that focus on diversity and inclusion. I am known for crafting practical, thought-provoking learning opportunities where answers often lie in posing even more questions.

Specialisms in Supervision

  • Gestalt-informed coaching/supervision on identity, self, and acceptance
  • Co-coaching

Interest Outside of Coaching

I consider myself country girl that likes to wear city boots. A keen linguist, in recent years I’ve discovered the joys of singing in a band. In different ways, both these serve to push my boundaries and embrace the performance demands that come my way.
