Getting Constructive Feedback from Clients
Getting constructive feedback on your practice and then evolving a focused CPD plan is a key component in developing yourself as a mature professional coach. We are the ‘product’, and ultimately the only way to maintain an effective and viable practice is to make sure you maintain a focus on developing your craft skills and yourself, creating your unique coaching signature style.
We have developed COACH360 as a tool to support you in doing just that. Underpinned by our proven online 360 feedback platform, we have based it on 10 areas or ‘dials on the dashboard’ that in our 30 years of experience in coach development we think are the most important for you to consider.
How does it work?
Once you let us know you would like to take part, you will be sent a secure link to your unique part of the COACH360 platform. This will allow you to nominate up to 5 clients from whom you wish to receive feedback. They will each be sent an e-mail inviting them to give feedback on how they have experienced you as a coach (it’s a good idea to let them know you are nominating them, so the e-mail is expected).
Let us know when you would like the report for, and once the feedback has been received we will generate your report.
You can also give yourself feedback on the 10 areas.
On receiving the report, you can then use it with your own supervisor or you can talk to one of our faculty.
How much does it cost?
If you are a CPD Member, you will automatically receive two COACH360’s together with 2 supervision sessions as part of your membership.
Some corporate memberships also include COACH360 as part of the package.
For all other forms of membership, it is an optional extra and costs £95 for the report.

COACH360 – The 10 Areas
The 10 areas or ‘dials’ are a key theme in our thinking about coach development:
- Contracting
- Presence and core skills:
- Interventions
- Ethical Practice
- Reflective practice:
- Outcomes
- Psy Expert
- Systems Thinking
- CPD and Professional recognition:
- Your Coaching Practice
COACH360 asks your clients about the first six of these and you are invited to reflect on areas seven to ten, to build a complete picture.

Coming Soon: CPD ‘Boot Camp’ Bundle
If you are serious about creating a focused CPD plan to reinvigorate your coaching practice and continue to develop your coaching signature style, then you might want to consider a CPD ‘Boot Camp’. Typically, we might expect this to run for six months to a year.
The Boot Camp consists of:
- 2 x COACH360, one at the beginning of your specified development period and one at the end.
- 2 x 90 minute supervision sessions, in which the report is debriefed and a CPD plan created, along with a reflection on your direction of development, a view on your coaching signature style and how that can be developed, and a review of your business and business development strategy – all facilitated by your choice of one of our highly experienced supervisors.
- An ‘Observed Coaching session’ where we review, with you, a recording of one of your pieces of work; this is optional, but can offer a very powerful insight for developing your coaching
- A written CPD plan
The price for the Boot Camp is £450 as a standalone package, or you can receive it alongside many other benefits as part of a Professional Membership of CoachingCraft for a yearly subscription of £495.
If you are interested in a standalone Boot Camp contact us here.
